Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro National Park, located in Tanzania, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its stunning landscapes and remarkable biodiversity. It encompasses the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera, which was formed millions of years ago. The park covers an area of approximately 8,292 square kilometers (3,200 square miles) and is home to a variety of ecosystems, including grasslands, forests, and lakes.
